Pi Day Fresno 2021

A virtual celebration of the Raspberry Pi

Although Pi Day looks a bit different this year, we hope you'll join us in celebrating all things Raspberry Pi!

What is Raspberry Pi?

The Raspberry Pi is a series of small, affordable computers that you can use to learn programming through fun, practical projects.

Virtual Pi Day

Pi Day will look a little different this year. Since we can't all meet in person at local spaces, we're asking hackers, makers, and creators from the community to record a short, informal video of your Raspberry Pi project to be showcased on PiDayFresno.com! Keep it casual and have fun!

Please have your projects submitted no later than March 7th. We'll upload your video to our YouTube channel and release them all on Pi Day, March 14th!

Do you have multiple Raspberry Pi projects to show off? Groovy! Feel free to submit multiple projects. We want to see everything!

Video Guidelines:

  • Keep it short. More than a minute, probably less than five, certainly no more than ten.
  • Keep it simple. Record it on your phone, don't over think it – unless you want to!
  • Keep it casual. Relax, be yourself, have fun with it!
  • Keep it PG. Kids may be watching!

Content Guidelines:

  • Who are you and what city do you live in?
  • What did you build? Give us a demo!
  • Why did you build it? Does it solve a problem or did you make it for fun?
  • How does it work? What software and hardware did you use? What model Raspberry Pi?

We're looking forward to seeing everyone's projects, and hope that we can check some of them out next year in person!
